Voluntary Handy Help Needed at Hawk Walks HQ

Keeping the birds is a full time job, Hampshire Hawk Walks is currently just me!, not ever a day off though I can admit to occasional help from friends with the bigger jobs.

I try to ensure that my hawks have a great space in which to live when they are not out flying and working. Housing needs to be built and it needs maintenance and there are always tasks large and small that need to be done. That's where I need some assistance!

If you or someone you know might be interested in helping with woodworking / painting and general handy type tasks for the odd day here and there, in return for the opportunity to spend some time out in the field with me and the hawks then please do get in touch and lets have a chat.

If you enjoy light manual tasks especially working with wood then I have a list of improvements I would love to make, A current list of jobs involves, repairing guttering, insulation and recladding of aviaries fixing badly fitting doors and latches , the list is endless, but not time critical. Alas I struggle to get round to as I am doing the daily chores!

Being around the birds is therapeutic and they definitely appreciate all the hard work we put in.

Drop an email to anita@hampshirehawkwalks.co.uk and tell me a bit about yourself or give me a call.
