We had a lovely afternoon talking to the residents at Shawford Springs care home all about birds of prey. Wilf was the star of the show as always and made lots of new friends and was very happy to pose for a few pictures, I think he needs his own social media page!
The residents learned all about the differences between different species, Doogal, London, and Wilf were absolute professionals as always and I was very impressed by the knowledge of Harris Hawks shown by one of the residents who was very keen on birds indeed.
The wonderful thing about what I do is that is has such broad appeal and erlier in the week we visited Foxhills Federation infant school and were teaching the year 1 classes about birds of prey and the food chain.
